What started it all....


I want to be a writer. I read almost everything and then enjoy writing about what I have read. Sometimes I write about family events, thoughts that I think, or book ideas that I would like to finish. My Mom and Pop told me when I get older, I can try an internship to learn more about writing. One day, maybe I will even make my own book.


My Pop was so excited when I told him I wanted to write, that he suggested I start a blog. Here I can write about anything and other people can see my thoughts. Maybe this will help me become a better writer.

National Geographic Kids: 2012 Almanac

The 2012 Almanac from National Geographic Kids is awesome. I learned a lot in this book, and was amazed at some of the photos. There are over 500 awesome pictures in there. I learned a little more about Europe and certain animals. Also, this book has a chapter on our world, 2012. I learned a little more about the new things on attraction, new buildings, and basically, what's new in 2012. I was interested when I read about "Mr. Blobby," a fish that was recently found, and is currently living in an aquarium. He's not exactly a pretty fish, but it is fascinating how he looks like a face. The whole fish looks like a bald, chubby, slimy head. There are other parts in this book I enjoyed and I recommend this book to kids who love to learn.
