What started it all....


I want to be a writer. I read almost everything and then enjoy writing about what I have read. Sometimes I write about family events, thoughts that I think, or book ideas that I would like to finish. My Mom and Pop told me when I get older, I can try an internship to learn more about writing. One day, maybe I will even make my own book.


My Pop was so excited when I told him I wanted to write, that he suggested I start a blog. Here I can write about anything and other people can see my thoughts. Maybe this will help me become a better writer.

Trailblazer

Trailblazer is not the name of a book, but instead is the name of a set of books. Each book is about a child who meets historical Christians. The latest book I have read is called Shanghaied to China about a boy named Neil. On board the ship with his captors, Neil meets a young man who is a passenger, Hudson Taylor. He is on his way to China, so that he may preach the gospel. I think this book was very well written and exciting. The authors, Dave and Neta Jackson, are very good authors. I like their books a lot and can't wait to start the next one!
