Happy Birthday to You! continued
Yesterday was fun! When Pop got up we gave him presents, which for me, was a book I wrote. Then we played Pictionary and Boggle, which were fun. After we watched two Sherlock Holmes movies and started a third one. Still, our minds were thinking about the night's activities. It was a surprise! We brought the radio and arrived at a drive-in. We settled our car in and opened the back so we could watch the movies. Unfortunately the radio didn't pick up a signal, so we had to use the car's radio. After a moment of hearing static, the movie played. One of the movies was the new Spiderman starring somebody new as Peter Parker. Then we watched Madagascar 3. It was hilarious and everyone loved it. I'm sure we'll get it when it comes out. Until my next post...

Happy Birthday to You!
I've been so busy working on my book that I totally forgot what the date was! Plus I lose track of time a lot. Tomorrow is my Pop's birthday! My grandmother was actually the one who mentioned it and I am grateful that she did. I've been working to make a present and other stuff (Pop if you're reading this, sorry, you'll have to wait until tomorrow) so I hope he enjoys it. I'm hoping to post on tomorrow's events Wednesday. Who knows where we may go tomorrow, but I hope the Lord blesses us as we do it. Here's hoping for tomorrow!

Homer Price
In "The Doughnuts", a big movie has just come out and Homer's Uncle Ulysses asks him to make a bunch of doughnuts for the folks who will get out of the theater. Homer agrees and his uncle goes to the saloon to play a little pinochle. Three people come into the shop while Homer makes the doughnuts. One of them is a rich woman who helps Homer make batter. She gets a dozen doughnuts to take home and leaves. The machine malfunctions while she is gone and produces more and more doughnuts. When everyone is getting doughnuts, a surprise arises when the lady returns: She offers a $100 reward for finding her diamond bracelet she dropped in the batter while making it. In the end all is well that ends well, for Rupert Black finds the diamond bracelet.
Yes, Homer Price is a very funny book!
